Science, Subjective Consciousness, and Faith: Struggling to Hold It All Together

November 13, 2016 @ 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm

As the sciences advance, questions of subjective human consciousness share the stage with religion and philosophy. Conflicts and difficulties arise for Christians in theory and practice. For
instance, how can the psychology of religious experience be understood? Together we will explore this question which will hopefully induce creative insights and further explorations.

Sidney Callahan, PhD is a writer who seeks to integrate Christian faith and the intellectual challenges of our culture. Her PhD in Social-Personality Psychology is from the City University of New York. She has written many books and articles, taught as a tenured Professor, lectured widely, and, with her husband Daniel Callahan, raised seven children.
