“Catching Fire!” is a group process that blends contemplative prayer, reflection, and dialogue for the purpose of spiritual growth. It is based on Teilhard’s assumption that, when people gather together for shared purpose, they have greater potential to increase in consciousness and co-evolve society. The program consists of an orientation session and four modules of four sessions each. Each module focuses on a different Teilhardian theme.

Anita Wood, MDiv is a religious educator and spiritual director, who received her MEd from Boston College and her MDiv from Lancaster Theological Seminary. Anita has had successive careers in teaching, religious education administration, spiritual direction, and retreat leadership. Her work in education and spirituality with adults has led Anita to create a spiritual growth process based on evolutionary principles.

The fee for the orientation session and the first two modules, a total of 9 two-hour sessions, every Wednesday night from September 22, 2021 to November 17, 2021, EDT, is $75. The fee for the last two modules, January 5, 2022 to February 23, 2022, EST, a total of 8 two-hour sessions, is also $75, and payable in the new year.
